Sarah began her dance training at Mary's School of Dance in Stoughton, WI at the young age of 3. When she was 10, her family moved to the Kingman community where she began training at Kingman Dance Center under the direction of Tim Hegler and Jordan Hegler.
In 2007, Sarah became the proud owner and director of Kingman Dance Center. She continued her dance education and training under the leadership of Stan Rogers and Sharon Rogers at Friends University. Graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2011 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Ballet and a minor in Business Administraion.
She has performed in many ballets such as: The Nutcracker, Prodigal Son, The Firebird, The Great Plains, Variations on a Theme, and Colours, Coppelia, Peter and the Wolf, and With a Song. Performed many variations from well known ballets such as Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker , Swan Lake, Don Quioxte, La Bayadere, Pas de Quatre, Giselle, and Torque.
Sarah has worked with choreographers such as: Dominic Walsh, Stan Rogers, Sharon Rogers, Melonie Buchanan, Sarah Simones, Shawn Stevens, and Francisco Martinez. Has attended the Revolution Dance Convention and workshops with the Ad Deum Dance Company and Rogers Ballet.
Has performed for a wide variety of audiences such as the Wichita Children's Fesitval, the Wichita Community, the Kingman Community and has performed internationally in Cancun and Playa Del Carmen, Mexico as a part of the 5th Annual International Dance Festival.
Sarah has enjoyed working with over 200 students from the Kingman Community and surrounding areas. She focuses on classical ballet training as a foundation for all other dance forms. Uses strong influences of the Italian (Cecchetti) and French methods of training into every age group of dance.
Sarah resides in Wichita with her husband, Jared and their two young children.
